Laurence Carr BA Hons Dip CII
Artsure Director
Laurence began his insurance career in 2015 working for a specialist national broker before joining Artsure in 2018. Laurence is now responsible for managing the overall Artsure proposition. He continues to develop our underwriting to ensure we are providing suitable solutions for brokers and delivering a profit to carriers. Laurence continues to further his professional development by undertaking his ACII qualifications.
Matthew Coombs
Head of Artsure Development & Distribution
Matthew has 20 years’ experience underwriting Household and Motor risks for High Net Worth clients. Prior to joining Artsure he spent over 12 years with Chubb Insurance in various roles. Matthew has been at Artsure since its inception and is now Head of Development and Distribution.

Rachel Daniels
Underwriter
Rachel is an Underwriter with over a decade of experience in the High Net Worth market. Having previously worked at DUAL and Ecclesiastical, she is focused on relationship building and providing solutions for her brokers. Outside of work she takes a keen interest in keeping fit and interior design.
Richard Hare
Underwriter
Richard started his insurance career with Liverpool Victoria in 2015 underwriting motor insurance products before moving onto standard household insurance. Richard joined Plum in 2022 where he underwrote their suite of non-standard household products before joining the existing business team at Artsure in January 2025.
Colin Jefferies
Assistant Underwriter
Colin has been with Eaton Gate for two years and has 38 years’ experience in the insurance industry as a Broker and working within the MGA market. Colin has 30 years’ expertise in the Personal Lines market predominantly mid/ high net worth risks. Whilst having a qualification in business management, he has a great track record in customer service having worked for a top four bank in the UK and is always looking to provide options and solutions to our client's insurance needs.
Joanne Mancell
Assistant Underwriter
Jo has been in the industry for more than 17 years gaining knowledge in broker accounts, agency and underwriting in the mid to high net-worth market. Since joining Eaton Gate in 2020, Jo has gained more experience working in the New and Existing business teams.
New Business Team
Sarah Green
Underwriter
Sarah began her insurance career in 2001 as a Personal Lines broker for motor, household, and travel insurance. Since joining Eaton Gate in 2018, Sarah has gained experience writing HNW as well as all commercial products. Sarah now specialises underwriting HNW risks and is responsible for providing excellent service for a panel of brokers.
Kieran Hunt
Underwriter
Kieran started in the insurance industry in 2014 as a specialist motor underwriter. He moved to Saffron Insurance in 2017 and worked as a High Net Worth broker dealing with HNW property, non-standard, renovations and property works. Kieran joined Artsure in February 2021.
Dean Capel Cert CII
Development Underwriter
Dean has been in the HNW industry for over 10 years. After spending many years as a broker, Dean now underwrites and manages MNW & HNW Household risks for a panel of brokers. Dean is Cert CII qualified and keen to undertake the Diploma next. Prior to joining Artsure he worked for Aston Lark.
Theo Atkinson
Underwriter
Theo began his insurance career with Eaton Gate in April 2019, he was responsible for administration and existing business across the Artsure products. Theo joined the new business team in August 2020 and has since been gaining experience writing MNW/HNW new business, as well as providing an excellent service for his panel of brokers. To further his development Theo will be undertaking industry qualifications.
George Buckingham
Underwriter
George has been in the HNW insurance industry for 10 years having started his career at Home and Legacy. After leaving Home and Legacy in August 2023, George took a short break from Underwriting and spent 18 months as a broker before returning to Underwriting where he joined Artsure in January 2025. George is Cert CII qualified and will next undertake the Diploma.
